To commemorate 25 years of impact in India, the Gates Foundation commissioned a poignant documentary. This film served as a powerful travelogue through time, showcasing the continuous progress made by the Foundation in transforming the lives of women and children. We travelled to the remote corners of India and the villages, spoke with a range of dedicated professionals, including healthcare workers, Anganwadi workers, nurses, and doctors, mothers Through their gritty and poignant accounts, we captured the raw emotion and unwavering hope invested in building better healthcare systems and stronger communities, all aimed at creating equal opportunities and improved living standards for women and children across India. We also understood a very simple fact – that every big thing starts small and takes years of unwavering dedication, that starts at the ground level.
