Heritage Stitched

The Hickey Freeman insignia has featured on the inside of Obama’s dinner jacket. A master tailor had once said – “When you see pictures of the various presidents of the United States who wore Hickey Freeman suits. It meant something unusual about the hands that stitched them.”

Journey with me through a poignant photo-essay, narrated visually by a young Black boy growing up in Harlem. His sights are set on the highest office in the land – the U.S. Presidency. This isn't just a collection of images and boldly written free verse - it's an unfolding saga of unyielding hope, raw courage, and ultimate glory. The raspy grit in facing down every negativity and obstacle, a testament to his indomitable spirit. His dream isn't just about power; it's about the pinnacle of success, symbolized by the day he'll don a Hickey Freeman – All the Presidents’ suits.
